Chancellor’s Push-Up Challenge

Join us for the Chancellor’s Push-Up Challenge, a spirited, campuswide event where friendly competition fuels real impact. Whether you’re competing or cheering, you’ll help generate momentum (and dollars) for your preferred support area.

What to Expect

Main Event: Chancellor’s Push-Up Challenge

Dr. Dele Davies will set the bar – literally. Watch Interim Chancellor Davies complete as many push-ups as he can, and any challenge participant who exceeds his total becomes eligible to win prize funding for their chosen area. The top three performers will earn a share of the Chancellor’s Push-Up Challenge funds to direct to the University of Nebraska Medical Center or Nebraska Medicine fund of their choice.

Note: Student organizations are not eligible for this portion of the challenge.

Prizes:
1st Place: $2,500
2nd Place: $1,500
3rd Place: $1,000

Student Organization Showdown

Student organizations will go head to head in a fast-paced push-up sprint for a chance to win prize funding for their group. Participants will complete as many push-ups as possible in 30 seconds. The participant with the most push-ups completed will win $1,000 for their student organization.

Loudest Cheering Section

Not competing? You can still win.

Bring your colleagues, peers or department with signs, costumes and energy – because there’s a prize for the group that shows up loudest and proudest. Official For the Greater Good giving day personnel will determine the winner of this challenge.
